Not so in the battles of life. We may be shot many times and still appear as we're not bleeding. As we are not in pain. We can always camouflage what's happening in the inside and appear otherwise. Regard as one not facing war. Appear that we are not under trials. No problem or big mountain is in front of us.
But I believe before any giant, warning has been announced. I'm sure we can see giants from afar. If it came as a surprise, we have somehow felt those humongous steps. We should.
In the case of King David, he's well informed of Goliath. I believe he even heard Goliath and his team mock them and their GOD. In his case, nobody was willing to fight the giant in front- in a square field. Only David the Shepherd boy has the courage. He was brave for he knows, he is with GOD. And he knows his place and who he is in GOD. And of course you know the rest of the story, how the giant fell and died. But more than the stone and slingshot, David believed it was not because of those things that the giant is no more. It is all because in the power of his GOD.
I dont know if I am a soldier of that time, and be as courageous as David.
In my case, I have my prayer partners. They stand in the gap for me. They intercede. They pray with me. They know how I am feeling and are so willing to commit to stand as a team. And pray for me.
With that, I am so grateful to God to be surrounded with these amazing and prayerful women.
I am deeply humbled.
